Big City Oddities
Things you only see in a big city:
-- potted plants that are chained together so nobody steals them from the doorstep
-- signs that say "No Honking - Fine $350". wow... that's some serious stuff...

Between my internship place and my metro stop in DC, there was a sign that said, "No Red Light Running." That amused me and made me want to put up signs that said, "Don't Murder Anyone." I think I tell this story all the time but I just felt like this post needed a comment.

There was a sign in the local video store in St. Cloud that said "push hard this door" it was on two signs, each on a seperate door, so it was like this
push hard
this door
even if you switched it around, it was "push this hard door" yeah, go ahead, push it!

Although sure enough, every time i walk outside i hear somebody honk on that street. Wow, if they actually wrote tickets for that kinda thing, the police would be raking in huge amounts of cash!

THOSE GODDAMN PUNKS!
i just wanted to say that.
To me, I never think that an ammount of money under a million will mean anything to a big organization like the NYPD (not the Pizza Depot, though that is clever, eh?)
